As part of a UX/UI design project, Mariely and I developed a responsive digital application aimed at improving agricultural workflow efficiency while supporting sustainable water usage. Applying a design-thinking approach, we conducted research to identify key challenges faced by farmers managing multiple fields and used these insights to inform our app’s features and user experience.
The application provides farmers with an intuitive platform to oversee different fields simultaneously, integrating tools such as a field mapping system, real time weather updates, soil level monitoring, water usage tracking, alerts, and pesticide management. A central focus of the app is data visualization and geospatial mapping, enabling users to quickly assess crop health, field metrics, and resource allocation across their farm.
Through iterative prototyping and collaboration, Mariely and I ensured the app balances functionality with an accessible, user-centered interface that empowers farmers to make informed decisions and increase productivity efficiently.
